Great day, that had scattered storms exactly where TopMeteo said it would be. Lots of Cu around but it got weak late in the day and 2.5 hrs was an over call somewhat based on the A class code column = MT15, MT+FP, MT, MT15, MT15, AB.
It was pretty fun doing a long MAT, and fly through a little rain going to the peak on Mount Cheeha - it was getting weak so it was a challenge to overfly a turnpoint at 1900MSL.

The new guy in B class flew his first race and did really well- Congrats to Cliff.

The club hosted a great cookout with my favorite = spicy italian sausages, burgers, dogs and beer.  We hung out and chatted until the sun was well below the horizon.
