The winds were the problem and the solution to this task.  The hard part was getting high enough to leave.  I spent nearly an hour before getting over 3000'.  Finally, I found a climb that took me from 3000 to 5000 and followed the wind line into the first turn area.  I only climbed 11 times and a few of those were really good.  I followed the streets as best I could.  The task was mainly a north-south run until the last turn area.  I should have taken a better line to the east but opted to keep airports within range for land-outs.  Good task and the day made for a great learning opportunity.
