It looked like high cirrus was going to kill the day. Just as we starting launching the grid a fairly thick layer of cirrus came over, then a very thick band was just west over Atlanta and it was ominous and threatened to follow it. We held the gate closed until the magic 3300'AGL was reached, and it appeared like it never was going to, Somehow the cirrus dissipated and the rest of the day had blue above. Interestingly the south end of the task area had spread out cu and the north end started to over develop. Sunday was not a strong as Saturday but it was fun too. John Mittel Ruled the day again, congrats. Thanks to FS for looking over the weather and calling in a task from home, was a great task for the day. Thanks also to MGSA for hosting a great weekend, Joe Flores and crew fed a nice dinner Saturday nite.
