We got a task in. Glen Betzholdt and I got around. H6 landed out at windrift.
I blew the finish height, so I almost landed out as well. [scored as landout at finish].
We had a lucky blue window in the cirrus to make a TAT. Lift was 2-4, got better later. I flew through an 8 and a 9 kntter on final - of course. Topped out at 4500'.
I think I forget what a cu looks like.
Overall, a good day to knock off the rust.
